Stephen Colbert, the popular satirist, is currently considering running for President of the United States. Obviously, there has been some controversey surrounding the comedian. For one, Colbert has his own Super PAC. For some reason I never take politics seriously, especially when they use words like "super'... don't ask. Anyway there is a rule that candidates cannot be associated with their Super PACs. Being his clever self, Colbert transferred control of the Super PAC to long time friend and Daily Show host Jon Stewart with the help of his 'Super-Secret Lawyer". The possibilites are endless for Colbert and Stewart, no one really knows what they are ever planning next. Colbert missed the deadline to be on the South Carolina ballot but he has already found a loop hole by not only relinquishing control of his Super PAC but also by looking into other states ballot deadlines. Chances are that Republicans will not coose Colbert as thier candidate seeing as his Right wing persona is a complete facade... but he could very well run as an independant .... or make his own damn party. Is Colbert mocking Congress? Does he have a shot at being the 45th President of the United States? Can he run, possibly faster, with the big politician dogs? Yes, yes, and yes. Colbert 2012!
